Wallace - William W. Edwards, 80, retired Fountain farmer died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville at 1:15 p.m. Monday after an illness of six weeks. Born April 22, 1874 in Fountain County, he was the son of Samuel and Nancy Suiters Edwards. On August 8, 1895, he married Flora Sanders in ceremonies at the home of the bride. He was a member of the Ingersoll Chapel Christian Church. All of his life had been spent in Fountain County with the exception of three years in Kansas and he received his education in county schools. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Grace Myers; a granddaughter, Mrs. Katy Starnes; a grandson, Max Myers all of Wallace and four great grandchildren. His wife, a son, Glen and 8 sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Grenard & Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. Alan Keifer of Wallace will officiate and burial will be in Wayneton Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday.
